The 舒马赫画廊's 永久收藏s offer a wonderfully diverse selection of more than 2500 works for study and enjoyment. These collections encompass 2000 years of cultural history. Since the Gallery's inception in 1964, hundreds of donors have provided objects of art, 基金, and services to create this important cultural legacy.

The 俄亥俄州 艺术 League is an innovative leader in 俄亥俄州 that has been supporting artists throughout all stages of their careers since 1909. OAL connects member artists from across the state to patrons of the arts. Through professional development, 指导, 和宣传, OAL works strategically to help 俄亥俄州 cultivate and retain top art talent while positioning the state as a hub for the arts. The Fall Juried Exhibition is part of a bi-annual tradition that has been a mainstay of the arts in 俄亥俄州 for several years. The exhibition is ever-changing, pairing member artists from every imaginable medium with a juror who brings their own flair to the selection process. The 2023 Fall Juried Exhibition Juror is Bellamy Printz, an active member and artist in the Cleveland art community with personal and professional ties to major businesses, 机构, and organizations where she has been organizing exhibitions for 23 years.

出生在卡拉, 多哥, 西非, Talle Bamazi can be described as an artist who uses canvas as a site for activism. 通过他的艺术, Talle is intently compelled to share the story of his homeland while purposefully paying homage to his ancestors 和 culturally significant ties between traditional and contemporary ideas. Bamazi established the Kabiye Impact Contemporary African 艺术 (KIACA) Gallery in 2003, 位于哥伦布, 俄亥俄州, where he was able to educate patrons on the enduring cultural gifts of his beloved Africa, while also serving as an influential talent incubator for young artists of color. He has had several solo exhibitions, including Brecht Forum in New York and Goethe Institute in Lomé, and has been featured at the Columbus Museum of 艺术 和 National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center.

The 舒马赫画廊 will be open Monday - Friday, 下午12点至4点和星期六, 1 - 4:30 pm during the academic year. We are closed during the summer and on university holidays.
